Lisa Vereneau Obituary

NEW BRITAIN

We sadly announce the passing of our daughter, sister and aunt, Lisa (St. Amant) Vereneau, on Monday, September 8, 2025 at HoCC at New Britain General at the age of 60. Lisa was born in New Britain on April 30, 1965, the daughter of Shirley (Chasse) St. Amant and Clarence St. Amant. She graduated from Bristol Central High School and lived in Bristol for most of her life. For many years, Lisa owned and managed the Edible Arrangements location in Bristol. Although Lisa loved being a hostess and entertaining others, she will be most remembered for her big giving heart and for being a doting aunt. She was also an avid football fan of the New England Patriots and UConn football teams. In addition to her mother Shirley of Southington, with whom she lived, and her father Clarence of Bristol, those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Michelle Defosse and Michelle's partner, William Stahl; her three nieces, Desiree, Monique, and Chantelle Defosse; as well as two great-nephews and one great-niece. Lisa was predeceased by her brother, Timothy and her sister, Laurie. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, September 18, 2025, beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Dominic Church 1050 Flanders Rd in Southington. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Following the Mass, Lisa's urn will be entombed next to her grandmother in the Garden Mausoleum at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Britain. Calling hours with her cremains present are Wednesday, September 17th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St. in Plantsville. Yesterday

My condolences go out to Lisa's family. Lisa was a major contributor to the Central Ct Chambers of Commerce. She was always there when we needed her. Serving on several committees and donating her beautiful fruit arrangements. She will be missed.
