Marjorie Ellen (Rindfleisch) Pearson, 80, formerly of Bristol and Ellington, died on Thursday (September 18, 2025) at Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation in New London. Marjorie was born on May 28, 1945, in Bristol and was a daughter of the late Marjorie (Parsons) Gillette and Arnold Iggy Gillette. A longtime Bristol resident, she graduated from Bristol High School. She worked many years in retail before her retirement and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church (formerly St. Andrew.), Bristol. Marjorie enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She had an enormous heart and cared about everyone. Family always came first for Marge. She was a devoted sister, mother, aunt and grandmother. Her unconditional love for her family will be cherished and dearly missed by all of us. May she be remembered as a resilient and hardworking mother who showed up daily with a never give up attitude. Marjorie is survived by three children: Robert J. Pearson and wife, Betty Ann of East Hartford, David E. Pearson of Florida, and Diana C. Pearson of Mystic; three siblings: George Rindfleisch and wife, Jo-Marie of Bristol, June Beaulieu and husband, Larry of Plainville, and Arlene (Gillette) Creswell and husband, David of Bristol; a sister-in-law: Betty Rindfleisch; six grandchildren: Adam Pearson and wife, Brittany, Kyle Pearson, Jason Pearson, Kelly Pearson, Haley Cassidy and Shannon Cassidy; one great-grandson: Noah Pearson; nieces and nephews: Anne (Trudel) Suero, Vicki (Trudel) Dube, Andrew Trudel, Marjorie (Beaulieu) Dempsey, Robert Beaulieu, David Rindfleisch, Becky Roberts, Alexandra Rindfleisch, Valya Rindfleisch, Bonnie Rindfleisch, Theresa Little; and great-nieces and great-nephews: Joelle, Louis, AJ, Elizabeth, Gregory, Elizabeth, Ian and Ryan. She was predeceased by a brother: Paul Rindfleisch. Funeral services will be held on Thursday (September 25, 2025) at 10 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 1125 Stafford Ave., Bristol.
