Pansy Reed Obituary
Pansy (McGray) Reed, 96, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 26, 2025. Born January 19, 1929, in Presque Isle, Maine, she moved with her family to Bristol, Connecticut in 1937 and graduated from Bristol High School in 1946. From 1949 to 1950 she attended Immanuel Bible College in New Brunswick, Canada. From 1983 to 1996, she lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she worked at and retired from Sandia National Laboratories. A woman of steadfast faith, she loved sharing the gospel, discussing the Bible and attending church. A highlight of her life was traveling to Israel in 1986. She loved spending time with her familysons Kevin (Vicki), Robert (Sharon), Steven (Lynn), and Timothy (Melody); grandchildren Charysse, Marcus, Jonathan, Emma, Kristyn, Evan, Christian, and Jordan; and twelve great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Cynthia McGray, five brothers, and four sisters, she is survived by her sister Helen Wharton of Terryville and many dear family members and friends. A celebration of Pam's life will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 736 King St, Bristol, Ct. Friday, October 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.. A wake will be held at Funk Funeral Home Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 5:00 p.m..
