Born in St Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada on March 15, 1938 she came to New Britain in 1956 after graduating from Dalhousie Commercial College in New Brunswick, Canada.

Pauline was filled with compassion, kindness, gentleness and patience. Students were

blessed with her unconditional love for 32 years until her retirement.

Pauline was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. She was a faithful volunteer for the

Pauline lived life to the fullest. She especially loved cruising and traveling. After her retirement, she enjoyed bus trips with the Newington Seniors, Foxwoods Casino, Setback Club with the Newington Seniors and especially her Friday Setback Club at the Wethersfield Community Center. Pauline you are missed, Best FRIEND & Secretary (Administrative Assistant) Pauline was the first person a child and parent would meet. She always made them feel welcome. Especially when a child was sent to the office they knew they were with someone special who cared for them (Selwyn) comes immediately to mind. It is said, "No significant learning can occur without a significant relationship." Dr. James Comer of Yale Pauline had a special way of teaching by filling a child's emptiness with love, compassion, kindness, gentleness and patience. Children (students) were blessed with Pauline´s unconditional love.

So sorry to read of Pauline´s passing. Pauline was a delightful person with the most positive attitude anyone could have.

I met Pauline playing setback. Sometimes she could be a fierce competitor and other times went with the flow.

She couldn´t wait to tell her children if she won any money at cards and I´m only talking $5.00 or less. She would be so excited.

When I first met Pauline I complimented her on her beautiful nails and the next time we played cards she had brought me a bottle of the nail polish she used.

Pauline was a very, nice and kind person. My condolences to her family.
