Ronald Landrette Obituary

Ronald Rowe Landrette, 56, of Torrington, formerly of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2019, surrounded by his family.
Ron was born on Sept. 28, 1962, in Bristol and was a son of Ralph Landrette and Robin (Willequer) Landrette. Ron's passions included classic cars, rock and roll music and sitting by the beach. Along with his love for the band ACDC, he was most remembered for always giving to those less fortunate. His kindness touched all those around him and his endless love will remain with the many who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Ron is survived by his six children, Joe Landrette and his wife, Martha, of Plainville, Ed Robinson and his wife, Lisa, of Plainville, Carl Robinson of Burlington, AJ Landrette of Bristol, Marie Landrette of Bristol, Amy Caron and her husband, Joey, of Bristol; his fiancé, Tammy Horne, of Torrington; his brother, Dean Landrette and his wife, Jackie, of Bristol; his sister, Dawn Stitham and husband, Dan, of Unionville; his ten grandchildren, Justin, Tina, Mackenzie, Tyler, Devon, Riley, Reese, Darla, Nina; his previous wife, Darcie Landrette of Bristol; the mother of his children and previous wife, Christine Landrette of Bristol; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 1125 Stafford Ave., Bristol on Saturday June 29, 2019 at 10 a.m. There will be a private burial at West Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in several ways; donations may go directly to St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 1125 Stafford Ave., Bristol, Ct 06010, online at The American Liver Foundation www.liverfoundation.org.
