Edward Wargin Obituary

Edward F. Wargin passed away peacefully on November 28, 2018 at the age of 72 following his battle with Leukemia. Born in Denver on May 25, 1946, Ed served in the Marine Corps from 1964-1968. As a civilian, he was an air traffic controller for the FAA, earned a B.A. from CU and became a Certified Financial Planner. Ed loved his family, friends, country and philanthropy. Our Pops will be deeply missed by his wife of 16 years Diana, children Susie Best, husband Mike, grandchildren Justin and Samantha; and Ted Wargin, wife Thrudur, grandchildren Zoe and Mia and step-granddaughters Melkorka and Sara Sverrisdottir. Ed is survived by his brother Russ (Cathy) Wargin and predeceased by his sister Jan Sadler, father Edward F. Wargin Sr. and mother Mabel Dobie. A Celebration of Ed's Life will occur Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Sanctuary Golf Course starting at 1pm (7549 N Daniels Park Rd, Sedalia, CO 80135). In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to: National Mill Dog Rescue (www.nmdr.org), K'9's for Warriors (www.k9sforwarriors.org) or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org).
