I only knew Dale a short time, but I will never forget his joyous nature and positive attitude. We worked together doing courier work, so I spent 8 hours with him every day for a good while. I loved hearing his stories from the cement plant and how his eyes twinkled whenever he told me a story about his family. I didn't understand that feeling as I didn't have children of my own then, but now I most definitely do. Dale you were a good friend and a fantastic father, though you have gone, your love and friendship never will.

Dale, I am so glad that we were able to spend the last few years getting to know each other better. We weren't as close as we could have been but I think we made up for that these last few years. I am very sad to have lost my brother but know that you are in a better place now and without the terrible pain that you have been going thru. Know that I miss you and will miss our times together. I love you very much brother and will see you again someday.
Love, your brother Terry

Grandpa I am so happy I got the chance to see you when I could! I miss you so much & I know that everyone will miss you just as much. You were always there for anyone who needed you. You were always there for me in my darkest days & I know the same goes for many other. You inspired me to always be caring but to push myself to reach my goals. You are the reason I joined the Navy & the reason why I am trying hard to reenlist. You will always be in all of our hearts until the day we join you in heaven! Until then I love you so much & I will never stop trying to make you proud.

One of my favorite photos.

I was always so proud to say I had an Uncle who was a fireman! I've always respected firemen so much. He was always so kind and helpful. I remember once when my family visited he took us all skiing. He was a lot of fun. He's up in heaven now with my dad and my Aunt Janet who I always admired a lot. We miss you all!! Deb Savage

Grandpa, we will miss you so very much! Already do!! I think back at our camping trips and fishing on your boats and those memories make me smile. Some of the happiest times of my life. We love you so much and miss your goofy smiling face. We'll go fishing again some day and I know you'll be waiting there, pole in hand. <3

Grandpa, we will miss you so much!! We love you like crazy! <3

I am forever indebted to Dale for showing me how life should be lived. As a young and highly impressionable boy through my adulthood, I saw a man who loved life and how to have fun. From motorcycles, to jet boats (rivers, tubing, water skiing, racing!!), RVs, snow skiing, fishing, hiking, etc., Dale was determined to do things that most wouldn't dream of doing. He also enjoyed teaching people, and he always had that great smile. Thank you Dale for everything you gave me!!! Love Rick and family
