DAVID GAMEZ Obituary
He enjoyed fishing, playing slot machines and was a Dallas Cowboy fan.
Mr. Gamez is preceded in death by his grandfather, Blas M. Davila.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Del Refugio Gamez and his children, David (Claudia Mendez) Gamez Jr., Guadalupe (Javier Garcia) Gamez, April (Emmanuel) Zalest Ravell, and Steven (Maria Ruiz) Seagal Gamez; his parents; Santos and Maria Guadalupe Gamez, 9 siblings; Encarnacion Gamez, Diana Salazar, Norma Reyna, Santos Gamez, Daisy Bocanegra, Blas Baltemore Gamez, Crystal Garcia, Ruth Rodriguez, Dixie Garza, 10 grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. today Tuesday, July 29, 2014 and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Garza Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Gamez, Jr., Steven Seagal Gamez, Encarnacion Gamez, Santos Gamez, Jr., Blas B. Gamez, Peter Salazar, Adrian Lee Gamez, and Reynaldo Rodriguez, Jr.
