Billy Etheride Obituary

Mr. Billy Wadis "Freddie" Etheridge, 70, of Whiteville, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center.
He was born Dec. 26, 1941, in Columbus County, the son of the late Avery Fisher Etheridge and Katie Devine Register Etheridge.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Louise Watts Etheridge; a daughter, Vickie Etheridge Sasser of Hallsboro; a son, Terry Etheridge of Whiteville; three grandchildren; three brothers, James "Thurman" Etheridge of Leland, Thurston Etheridge of Whiteville, and Jackie J. Etheridge of Whiteville; and a sister, Verlie Mae Hayes of Whiteville.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Magnolia Baptist Church by the Rev. Ralph Gore and the Rev. Ervin Etheridge.
Burial will be in the Etheridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Peacock Funeral Home.
