David McKethan Obituary

Mr. David Thomas McKethan, age 50, of Holden Beach, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013.
David was born May 17, 1963, in Colorado Springs, Colo., and was the son of Eugene and Fay Miller McKethan of Holden Beach. David was an avid fisherman and talented carpenter. He enjoyed very much doing for others and gave back what was so freely given to him. He was a member of the Holden Beach Chapel.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Tammie H. McKethan; a brother, Eugene McKethan III and wife Tammy, of Fayetteville; a sister, Leslie Manley and husband Rodney, of Holden Beach.
A memorial service was held at 11a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at White Funeral Service Chapel in Shallotte with the Rev. John Gray officiating.
