Masano Lang Obituary

Masano A. Lang, 80 years, of Glenmoore, Pa., passed away unexpectedly, Monday, August 17, 2009.
She was born in Fukuoka, Japan on February 4, 1929. She was the daughter of Hanako and Shojiro Akitake, and the widow of the late Delmont P. Lang.
She is survived by her children, Glen J. Lang and wife Linnea M. of Glenmoore, Timothy G. Lang of Glenmoore and Sandra L. Wetzstein and husband David W. of Richmond Hill, Ga. and 3 sisters Fusako Iwasaki, Takako Sakamoto, Yoshiko Akitake and by her 2 brothers Kenji Akitake and Kazuma Akitake, who all live in Japan. She has 3 grandchildren Ryan D. Boring, Garrett M. Boring and Steven B. Goodman.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 11 AM from the United Methodist Church in Glenmoore, PA located on 1920 Creek Road, with Pastor Ralph Cain, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 AM on Saturday at the church.
Masano previously taught at the St. Mary's of Providence in Elverson, PA and was an active member of the Glenmoore Garden Club. She loved her flowers, was known for her cooking and has touched the lives of her many friends and family with her love and generosity. She will be deeply missed.
