Rhonda Sims Obituary
Mrs. Rhonda Burnsed Sims "GiGi", 56, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was a customer service representative for Savannah International Trade and Convention Center, also a dispatcher and accounting clerk with several trucking companies. She was a Mary Kay consultant, enjoyed farming, canning and gardening. She was also a lover of animals, especially Benny the Bulldog.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Burnsed, Jr. and Yvonne Fordham Burnsed.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Glynn Sims; son, Tucker G. Sims of Denmark; daughter, Jessica Thompson (Trey) of Statesboro; grandson, Kyler "Waldo" Sims and caregiver, Brenda Parrish.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 5 – 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tony Hewitt officiating.
Burial will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Lower Black Creek Cemetery Fund. 1095 Shumantown Road, Ellabell, Ga. 31308.

Glenn, Jessica, Tucker, And Little Tyler, Be so thankful for the time you had with this very Special Lady! She Loved ya'll so very much! I am so sorry Rhonda had to go thru the things she had to with this illness but she is not struggling and suffering any longer with it!
