Shirley Ann Lloyd, 86, of Defiance, passed away on Aug. 15, 2025, with her family by her side at Majestic Care of Bryan.
She was born on Sept. 26, 1938, to Gerald and Florence (Bohn) Boyd in Defiance. On Sept. 20, 1958, she married Murel Lloyd, who preceded her. Together, Shirley and Murel owned Lloyd's Appliance Services for many years.
Shirley was a member of Defiance Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed traveling and most of all, cherished her time spent with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Rick (Susan) Lloyd of Stryker and Murel (Melissa) Lloyd of Columbus; her daughters, Sheree (Marty) Potts of Bryan, Julie (Paul) Fuhrmann of Defiance and Shelly (Kurt) Herman of Auburn, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren, with two on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Mary Clauser; and brother, William Boyd.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Defiance Church of the Nazarene. A funeral service will follow immediately at 1 p.m. at the Church with Pastor Tara Gorrell, officiating. Shirley will be buried at Riverside Cemetery.
