Ivyland - David Charles Campbell, a true gentleman who was always there for everyone who crossed his path in life, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Arden Courts of Yardley. He was 81 years of age and a resident of Iyland living formerly in Willow Grove. In the 1980's he became the President of ESC Corporation and served 17 years as Vice President of Ivygreene Community Association. Dave was a car enthusiast, a voracious reader and as a prolific writer he was a consummate historian who wrote about his community, loved the Constitution, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and the history that evolved surrounding many historic figures in American History. He will be sadly missed for the good man that he was, for his thoughtfulness, his many kindnesses, and his endless helpfulness. On June 30th he and his beloved wife JoAnne Pongia Campbell would have been married 48 years. He was a loving father to his children, David and Melanie and to JoAnne's children Michael and his wife Trina and David and his fiancée Lauren and was the cherished grandfather of Danielle, David, Shawn and Karson and great grandfather of Jayden, Violet, Garrett and Parker. He is also survived by his brother Michael Campbell and his wife Nancy and his sister Margaret Campbell, nieces and his former spouse Dorothy Goshey. His family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 10:15 to 11:30AM in Saint Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro. The celebration of his funeral Mass will begin 11:30AM with inurnment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
