John Burns Obituary

John Robert Burns
John Robert Burns (aka Pop-Pop) passed away at the age of 85 on May 17th, 2021.
John was born and raised in Philadelphia but moved to Bucks County in 1969. A graduate of Roman Catholic, John spent 60 years in the food industry and when he was not working, he enjoyed his children/grandchildren, researching classic cars and watching Game of Thrones.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Jane, brothers Joseph, James, and Thomas as well as his wife of over 50 years, Bernadine. He is survived by his son John, daughter-in-law Colleen, daughter Margaret, grandson Damien, granddaughter-in-law Kim, granddaughter Brittany and great-granddaughter Kennedy.
Family and friends will be received at Our Lady of Grace Church 225 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, PA 19047 on Monday May 24, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with his Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 am. His Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Women's Animal Center, 3839 Richlieu Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020

Peggi, John and family, so sorry for your loss. I will always remember your Dad as a sweet guy who loved a good laugh and always took what seemed like the longest route to Wildwood. Rest In Peace Dad Burns.
