I met Dr. Campbell as a nervous young bride in 1982. He was my first and only male GYN. As soon as we were alone his bed side manner was obvious. He was so kind and reassuring, that in no time at all, my nerves were gone. He helped me give birth to 4 children; 39 hrs of labor with the first, but all 4 C sections. His stitching skills were such that my incision looked like a plastic surgeon had done it. Eventually I did want a tummy tuck and again he sent me to the best; Dr Skalicky.
As I got older, he helped me through the change. He will be sorely missed by many. I know he was the happiest bringing new babies into the world. His heaven is probably reliving that pleasure. RIP my dear Dr Campbell fellow soldier. I´ll never forget you.

I just found out about Dr. Campbell's passing. He delivered my 3 children and my sister's daughter as well. What a wonderful man. He used to crack up when I would go in for my visits because I would always say this is so intense. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I was so surprised to hear of Dr Campbell's passing. I know it was over a year ago and I continue to think about him and miss having him as my doctor. He delivered two of my children and I knew I was in good hands. I have fond memories of talking with him and how much he enjoyed it when I would bring my then little ones with me to my appointments. He truly was very patient, kind, informative and very knowledgeable in his field. I'm very thankful my best friend, Holly Cattie, referred me to him. I'm very thankful I referred my sister to him. He was the only doctor in the area they was willing to listen to my sister's situation and help her in the way that she needed. I'll never forget sitting in his office with my sister and he handed us tissues when he saw us emotional over what my sister was dealing with. God truly blessed him with skills and talent. Praying for his family still to this day as they have a very special part of them missing. I know this message is late but I couldn't not leave one due to how much I appreciated him and miss him! Thank you!

I did not see any signatures from Dr. Campbell's Army buddies. I was a lLT Medical service corps officer platoon leader and Dr. Campbell was my company commander. We departed FT.Riley with the 9th Div in December of 1966 for the Mekong Delta of South Vietnam. We were aboard a troopship for the better part of December 1966. We arrived to very primitive conditions and Dr. Campbell was always positive and a great leader. I was with him about 3 months until he transferred to the 24th Evac. Hospital. I have digital photos for interested friends. email is [email protected]. So long Viet. Army Buddy. Ed Thornton, Captain MSC D company 9th Division Mobile Riverine.

I am so sorry for the sadness the passing of Dr. Campbell has left us. He was the kindest compassionate doctor with an expertise when it came to his patients. My doctor for over 35 years, delivered my 2 beautiful girls. Sat beside me, drew on a piece of paper explaining a procedure and said do you understand and smiling said sign here. An old soul, said delivery of babies was joyous why would he retire. I'm happy you got to do what you loved surrounded by the family you loved. You were one of a kind and will be dearly missed

Doctor Campbell really listened and honored the wishes of his patients. He knew about my fear of anesthesia and allowed me to go through a D&E following a miscarriage without taking anything at all...He also delivered 3 of my 5 children...all V-backs! Always very kind and extremely professional. All my love to his wife and children during this difficult time.

I first met Dr Campbell in1980 at his office in Richboro. He delivered my two Caesarian babies at St Mary where I previously worked in ObGyn. He ordered the test that saved my life from cancer. I looked forward to my annual visits for 38 years. He always had time to discuss my problems and chat. He made every patient feel special and uplifted us all with his sense of humor. He was a brilliant doctor and will be held in the hearts of countless people for the rest of their lives. My sincere condolences to his wife and family (who's lives I followed for years in the photo's in his office)!

He definitely was a wonderful person. So caring and thoughtful even in the toughest times. He knew my mom and consoled me upon her death and always brought up her beautiful smile. He delivered both of my children, both very memorable days. My youngest was delivered according to a birth plan. Something the nurses had never seen him do. I had a doula, no blue screen, and soft music playing. They all thought I was his daughter. My condolences to your family. There are no words that take away the pain of this heartache. But I believe he is with you all, always smiling and laughing.

So sad to lose Dr.Campbell after 25 years with him! It seems that there will never be others like him and his caring personal consultations. I brought my daughters to him for their first exams and for follow up questions they had. I'm glad they had the experience of meeting him. I didn't know much about his personal background but am not surprised at the heartfelt tributes as well as his honorable military service which affected his career choice of wanting to 'see life begin' as another patient stated. My sincere condolences go out to his wife and family at this time of painful loss of this great man. I will not forget him nor will my daughters.

I just received the letter of Dr. Campbell's passing. To say I am very sad is an understatement. He was larger than life to me as he saved my life when I was 14 yrs old. Over the years, countless visits, the deliver of my daughter, and my daughter becoming a patient, we would always laugh and talk about life. He always mentioned his wife, children, and grandchildren. I will miss our chats. Rest in peace Dr. Campbell. Thank you for taking care of me for so many years. You will be missed.

I just recently found out that Dr. Campbell passed away. Dr. Campbell delivered all 4 of my children back in the 80's. I was a high risk due to cramping and bleeding with all 4 of them, 2 premature labors which he stopped, and I hemorrhaged after two of them which he also stopped and prevented me from needing a hysterectomy. Had it not been for Dr. Campbell, I never would have been blessed with my 4 beautiful healthy children. I remember him being caring, compassionate, and very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Rest In Peace Dr. Campbell. Prayers to your family that they find peace and healing.

Dr. Campbell delivered by daughter on Valentine's Day,37 years ago. When I thought I was pregnant, I asked my primary care Dr. who he would recommend as I did not have an OBGYN and he said there was only one Dr. in Bucks County he would recommend and that was Dr. Campbell. He was a kind, compassionate and caring doctor who I have visited annually every year since. I remember he told me when I first met him that he had been a Dr. in Vietnam and saw too much death there. When he left the Army, he wanted to see life coming into the world. And that, he surely did. I remember he used to have pictures hanging in his waiting room of all the children he delivered. When they grew too numerous, he had scrapbooks with the pictures and over the years, they too became too numerous to count. He was a special man. I wish I had known about his death earlier as I would have attended his service. My deepest sympathy to his family.

I was so sad and heartbroken to hear of Dr. Campbell's passing. He was my doctor for 30 years he delivered my 2 children and he was very funny - When I was pregnant with my son he would say I was having an over 10lb baby well he was born 2 weeks early at 8lb so when he was 2 weeks he was over 10lbs LOL - and after my daughter was born I had my tubes tied and every year that I went to see him he would say that I need to get the other one done cause he only did one of them - funny funny man. Last appointment he said I am not going to say that anymore but I missed it and will miss him so much! May he RIP and my condolences to his family. Dr. Campbell you will be missed so much.

Thank you Dr Campbell, for being a wonderful and caring human being. I was so grateful you were there for the birth of my son, and my 2 surgeries, the 2nd being a cancer scare. It was so reassuring that you were my surgeon. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else. My husband will never forget how happy you were to deliver the good news to him in the waiting room, that his wife didn't have cancer and that we would be going home. You were as happy as he was. And then you turned and walked back into the OR to operate on another woman. God Bless you and God Speed. We will never forget you.

I loved Dr. Campbell. Thirty two years ago I was a nervous first time mother and asked Dr. about a serious concern, "will I get stretch marks after this?" and, just as seriously and thoughtfully he answered, "No, but you will be taller." We often laughed about how many babies he had delivered, which could be an entire village, and he spoke so proudly and lovingly about his children, grandchildren and most especially his wife. You have all been blessed, as we have, to have had the gift of Dr. in our lives. Much Love. Judi Bills

There was only 1 Dr. Campbell. He delivered my baby girl almost 35 years ago. He took such good care of me during my pregnancy and afterward. Years later when I was having severe discomfort in my lower abdomen and no other doctor knew what was wrong, Dr. Campbell did!!!! He performed surgery to discover what he believed was the problem, I had a severe case of endometriosis. During recovery I took no more than tylenol for pain. He was in a class by himself and when my sister forwarded a copy of his obituary, I cried. I am deeply saddened because I know no doctor, will ever come close to him and I will miss him. For many of us our lives, our children's lives have been made better because Dr. Campbell touched our lives and took care of us. We are all blessed to have known him and experienced his caring ways. Deepest sympathies are extended to his entire family. May his memory be a blessing. Thank you Dr. Campbell. Rest in Peace.

I am so saddened by this news. I learned on Facebook about Dr Campbell's passing too late to attend his funeral today. I'm so sorry. Tammy you know how much I loved him and respected him. I had no idea he stopped his practice. I was planning on scheduling my annual check up. I often say he saved me when he insisted on my hysterectomy when I was 47. Not sure I'd be here today without his insistence. Please know how grateful I am. Last year he told me he stopped delivering babies to care for his wife who was ill. And now he's gone. I wish I had said good bye. I know how much he loved his family. We always talked about them. God bless dear Dr Campbell and all of his family. I will pray for all of you. Michele

I was so very upset when I heard about Dr. Campbell's passing. My heart & prayers go out to his Wife & Family. I knew he had been in the hospital shortly after my last visit to him, & I knew he was done with the practice. I just really wish that I would've thanked him for everything he's done for me over the years. I wish I would've said goodbye! I should've known that it could be my last time seeing him! I cried like a baby when I read his obituary. He was just incredible! He was a wonderful man & a wonderful Doctor!!! My Mom used to work for him. He delivered both me & my Sister, my cousin (who actually helped to take care of him in the hospital before he passed), some of my nieces & nephews, & he delivered both of my children! He saved me from ending up w/full blown cervical cancer by the time I was 22, just by the procedure he did, & then watching me closely all these years. He helped me through the miscarriage of our very 1st baby & pregnancy, he saved my life & the life inside me that I just literally found out I had, when he had to do my emergency appendicitis surgery. Then he saved my Son's life a second time when I was giving birth to him. He ended up swallowing some mucus on the way out, & he could've died. His heart rate started dropping & Campbell got him out in time to clear his airways & make sure that he was okay, & breathing fine on his own. He delivered my Daughter thankfully, just in the nick of time, right before he stopped delivering babies! He also happens to be the only reason that one of my Sister's was able to have children. ☺ I am very thankful for all that he's done for me over the years! I will miss him very much & he will be impossible to ever replace!!! R.I.P. Doctor Campbell. You will be forever loved & missed by all whose lives you touched in some way!!!

Not only was I a patient of Dr Campbell's for 26 years, but during that time I worked with him, first in L&D, then in the OR, and finally when I retired he hired me to work in his office.
He was a good, kind and generous man who truly cared for his patients. When we talked about the old days, he would smile and say we did some good surgery.
On my last day working in his office I walked around before I closed up. Seeing his desk, his chair, brought tears to my eyes... Dr Campbell meant so much to so many people and he will be truly missed.
My heart goes out to Mrs Campbell and all of the Campbell family. May you find some comfort knowing he is at peace.

I'm so sad at the loss of a dear man. Dr. Campbell delivered both of my sons, and I felt I was in excellent hands during a subsequent surgery years later. In over 35 years as a patient, he always made me feel like he'd take all the time in the world for me. We resided for a time in the same neighborhood, and during many of our appointments he would recall seeing me push my son in the baby buggy and expressed his genuine pleasure at hearing about both boys' accomplishments. He never forgot that my husband was also a military man.
My last visit with Dr. Campbell was in early April. I will never forget him. My sincere condolences to his entire loving family; whose many photos adorned his office. Rest In Peace, good doctor. You are loved.

We were very sad when we learned that Doctor Campbell was sick. We are so sorry to hear of his passing and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Both of my children now fully grown were delivered by Doctor Campbell. Our names are the same but no relation. Still he would always greet me with "what's up cous". We knew Doctor Campbell for almost 30 years and he will be greatly missed by my family and the entire community.

Dr. Campbell was the best doctor I have ever had. He delivered two of my children. He was kind, gentle, with a wonderful sense of humor. When I moved back to Florida from Pennsylvania, losing him as a physician was heartbreaking. I often refer to him as the Mr. Rogers of Doctors, as he was patient and empathetic. My deepest sympathy to his family, friends, coworkers, and his patients. I know I cried when I heard the news, as he is responsible for saving my daughter's life. My thoughts and prayers are with Dr Campbell's family at this time. Such a kind and compassionate person. As a young woman with a 1st pregnancy and as a much older woman he was always willing to take the time to explain. God Bless.

I just heard that Neil Campbell has gone to be with our Lord. I have been a patient of his for 37 years. He delivered four of my children and helped me through a miscarriage. He was so much more than a doctor to me. He always made you feel like you were important.. He truly cared about you. I feel like I loss a family member. May God bless him and comfort his family in their grief.

I am so saddened to hear of Dr Campbell's passing. I was his patient for 36 years and he lovingly delivered my 3 children. He was my favorite doctor, so kind and caring, he always treated me like an individual and we would always smile at my yearly checkups about some of the medical issues he guided me through. Mt deepest sympathy to his family, you were so lucky to have him in your lives, just a wonderful human being! May he Rest In Peace knowing how many lives he touched with love.

Sad to hear of the passing of my wonderful doctor of 35 years. Sweet, gentle man and was always up for a good laugh. During one visit he told me I was perfect and I said can you write that down so I can give it to my husband because some times he forgets....So he got out his prescription pad and wrote down that I was perfect in every way and signed it. My husband still has that prescription note. So sweet and brings a smile to my face when I think of it. Glad he got to work until the very end, which he said he always wanted to do. So sorry for your loss. We will all miss him.

I am so sorry to hear this, he was the best, he saved my life by insisting I have a ultra sound, not just a mama, and because of that they discovered my breast cancer, he was so caring and kind! ❤❤

Dr Campbell was a wonderful part of the St Mary's OB staff. I worked as a nurse in Mother Baby for many years. He was so kind and compassionate with his patients. Much respected by the staff. So sorry to hear of his passing. May his memory be a blessing for his family and friends.
