Ralph Clapier Obituary
Levittown - Ralph Ellis Clapier, of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully Friday, June 4, 2021, at the age of 86. Born in Abington Hospital to the late Ellis Raymond Clapier and Mary E. Clapier.
Ralph was a graduate of Northeast High School and shortly after joined the United States Marine Corps where he served with Honor, Courage, and Commitment.
Ralph retired from Ametek Schutte-Koerting in 1998 after working 24 years as a turret lathe operator. He spent thirteen years of his retirement as part of the Bailey's Bar and Grille family working in take out.
Ralph was a member of Emilie Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his family, watching the Eagles, and going to the casino where he came home a winner each time.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife Ellie of 62 years, their three children Ralph Clapier, Michele (Tom) Giaquinto, Karen (Mur) Murray and his brother Wayne (Phyllis) Clapier. He is preceded in death by his sisters Joan Torrance and Clara Griffies.
Ralph was loved deeply by his grandchildren Victoria Giaquinto, Matthew Giaquinto (Taylor Abbott), Michael Murray (Maribeth Golm), John (Stephanie) Murray, Rosalie Murray, and Ellie Murray (Brian Bingaman).
Ralph will be remembered as "funny, witty, passionate, the biggest Philly sports fan, the best family man, and quite possibly the reason mini Fireball shooters stay in business." He will be missed beyond belief and will be remembered by his last toast with his family on Memorial Day . . . "to happy happy family."
Family and friends are invited to Ralph's Life Celebration on his birthday, Thursday, June 10th, from 10AM - 11AM, followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM, at the Beck Givnish Life Celebration Home, 7400 New Falls Road, Levittown, PA 19055.
