Barb Hostetter Obituary

Barb Hostetter

SHELBY: Barb Hostetter, age 43, wife of Rusty Hostetter, gained her angel wings suddenly on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Barb was born November 19, 1969 in Marion, Ohio. She was the daughter of Paul and Peggy Blizzard, graduating with honors from Wynford High School in 1988. Barb later received her Nursing degree and worked at several nursing homes and hospitals, currently working at Shelby Point Nursing Home.

Barb loved helping people, reading, and spending time with family and her pets. She was a devoted mother of three beautiful children. She loved life and loved her family. Her smile would light up a room. She was a beautiful person with an even more beautiful heart with an inner strength that most people only dream of having. From a tie-dye motorcycle enthusiast to a homemaker and caregiver, she had many different faces she wore on a daily basis. She was so full of life it radiated from her anytime you would see her. Heaven gained a beautiful soul who will be deeply missed.

Barb is survived by her loving husband Rusty; her children, Ross Remington Hostetter, Becca Ann Hostetter and Brook Rene Hostetter; her parents, Paul and Peggy Blizzard; one sister, Teresa Blizzard; her father-in-law, Roy (Becky) Hostetter; her mother-in-law, Linda Esterline; sisters-in-law, Heather (Henry) Kinney, Holly (Peyton) Strength and Heidi (Sean) O'Donnell; brothers-in-law, Randall Hostetter and Brian Pifer; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and her best friends, Kimi Griffith and Joe Belcher.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Diamond Hill Cathedral where services will be held at 4:00 p.m. conducted by Mel Schroeder.

Memorial contributions may be made to her children to help them continue their education.
