Edward Geissman Obituary

Edward L. Geissman

ATTICA: Edward L. Geissman, age 63, resident of rural Attica, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born on September 16, 1952 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Paul H. and Helen I. (Herr) Geissman.

He was a graduate of Buckeye Central High School in New Washington. He had formerly worked for Crest Bending and was a life long farmer. He was a member of the New Washington United Methodist Church. Ed was an avid bowler and enjoyed farming, wood chuck hunting, and feeding the barn cats.

He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Burton (Mary Lynn) Geissman of New Washington; and Robert (Connie) Geissman of New Washington; five nieces and nephews, Brenda (Shawn) Stockmaster, Brad (Michelle) Geissman, Brian (Kristi) Geissman, Jennifer (Ray) Joos and Thomas Geissman; and 12 great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Betty E. Geissman; and a nephew, Brett Geissman.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington, Ohio, where the funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Rich Hurles officiating. Burial will follow at the Union Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Ohio.
