Eric Adams Obituary
BUCYRUS - Eric Matthew Adams, 42, of Bucyrus, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 following an automobile accident.
He was born March 4, 1976 in Galion to Brady L. and Vickie L. (Damron) Adams. Eric was a 1995 graduate of Galion High School and shortly thereafter enlisted with the US Marine Corps. Following his years of service with the USMC, he served in the 122nd Army Band with the Army National Guard for over 12 years, traveling to various venues around Ohio during the summer months.
Eric was active at Bucyrus Nazarene Church where he performed vocally and with the church orchestra. This is also where he met Renee (Martin) Beck who he married October 15, 2011 and together, they have a son, Micah who has brought them many smiles and memories.
Eric was a laid back and quiet individual who was extremely "work driven." He was a valued employee at IB Tech for several years before taking a position with Jefferson Industries, where he was currently employed.
Being active with work, music, and family, Eric would often find relaxation playing computer games, working out, watching or listening to Buckeye football and in years past, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
Eric is survived by his parents, wife and son as well as four siblings, Aaron Adams, Nathan Adams, Stephanie Damron and Jenni Damron; nieces and nephews; maternal grandparents, Carl and Pat Damron and his maternal grandmother, Sylvia Adams. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Elmo Adams.
Eric's family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday, April 4 at Wise Funeral Service. His funeral will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Bucyrus Nazarene Church with Pastor Ray LaSalle officiating. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery where Military rites will be provided by USMC and American Legion Honor Guards.
Donations toward Micah's future education can be made payable to Micah Adams. These gifts will be accepted through the Wise Funeral Service or at the church on the morning of services. Memories and expressions of sympathy are encouraged to be shared on his tribute page at www.wisefuneral.com.

Eric was a fantastic tuba player, setting down with any musical group and making them sound better; just y adding a part of himself and his immense musical talent. Not everyone can do that.
As awesome as he was at that, even more importantly, he was an even better human being. Everyone who knew him should feel truly blessed by the experience.
Somewhere, up on high, he's probably making heavenly music. May God bless his family.
