Lillian M. Krichbaum

BUCYRUS: Lillian M. Krichbaum, 62, of Bucyrus, passed away peacefully after a short illness on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Bucyrus Community Hospital, Bucyrus.

Lilly was born in Crestline, on January 6, 1955 to the late Oscar M. Krichbaum, Jr. and Violet A. (Fiske) Krichbaum of Bucyrus. Lilly and her mother Violet had a very special bond, helping each other through life's journey.

Lilly was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline. She attended Fairway School in Bucyrus. Lilly worked at Waycraft and River Street Sheltered Workshop for over forty years. Her favorite job was placing GE light bulbs into their sleeves. She loved working with Becky Posey and "good looking" Michael Miller. Lilly always affectionately spoke her mind. Lilly was a woman of many interests, including; dancing and listening to CDs, bowling, going to the movies, eating at Bob Evans, watching football, especially The Ohio State University and the Cleveland Browns, attending weddings, having her hair styled, coloring, crafting, taking photos, vacations, shopping for CDs, walking through Lowe Volk Nature Center and Kingwood Center, collecting angels and butterflies, and watching Dancing With The Stars, Miss USA Pageants, American Ninja, Warrior and General Hospital.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers, Charles and Roseanna Krichbaum, Southbury, CT, David J. and Sandy Krichbaum, Shelby, Stephen and Kathy Krichbaum, Crestline, her sister, Pamela A. and Thomas Holtshouse, Bucyrus, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lilly had many friends and caregivers that enriched her life. A few of those were, Theresa, Samantha, Cara, Deb, Anna, Beth, Melanie, Julie, Melissa, Kelly, Lisa, Darlene and Joyce and the entire staff at Angels Home Care.

She was preceded in death by her father and her brother James Krichbaum.

Friends may call Thursday, October 12, 2017, from 5-7 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Christopher Bohnsack, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Capital Campaign Fund in Crestline or Lowe-Volk Nature Center in care of the funeral home.

What a lovely obituary & photo of Lilly. Her liffe was greatly enhanced by the excellent care given by her caregivers and by Pam who lovingly gave of her time to care for Lilly and her Mom . May memories of the good times shared be your strength in the coming days.
