Noah Skylar Lear

BUCYRUS: Noah Skylar Lear, also known as "Victory" to his online friends, at the age of sixteen passed away in Ashland Ohio at the Hospice Home on March 16, 2016 in Ashland, OH. Noah was born July 13, 1999 in Galion to Melissa (Bloomfield) Griffin who survives in Bucyrus and Scott Lear of Nevada.

Noah was raised mostly in Bucyrus and his memory is carried on by his brothers Chris Lear and Jacob Bloomfield, his father Scott Lear, his mother Melissa Griffin, his step-father Tate Griffin, and many beloved grandparents, including Harry and Debbie Bloomfield, JoAnn and Mark Griffin, Clarence Lear, Edith Baldwin, Great grandma Dorothea Hoon and great grandparents Bill and Linda Griffin. He is also remembered by his cousins Justin Albright, Cameron Bloomfield, Jordan Bloomfield, Josh Lear, Brittany Lear, AJ Griffin, Griffin Pahl and many more relatives.

Noah attended Bucyrus High School and was a member of the school's basketball team. He was an inspiration to all of his teammates and friends and lead by example through his love of the game and his commitment to getting better. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and spent a lot of time playing online games with these friends. He will be missed by all and be remembered as the bright and shining light that he was in the lives of everyone he met.

Calling hours will be held at Bucyrus High School, Kish Memorial Auditorium from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday March 20 and the funeral service will be held the following day at the same location at 11:00 am. I didn't know him but I kept reading the online newspapers and the updates on Battle of the Lear Facebook page he went through a lot he was a smart bright boy who brought light to everyone who knew him he was loved my many and even though the odds were against him he fought for his life and never up he was fighting not only for his life but to bring the world together and people closer especially his family and friends what happened to him was tragic he had to suffer in pain from the church to the hospital in Bucyrus to be transported to Nationwide in Columbus then later to be transported to Hospice in Ashland for 18 days when he took his last breath he made his wish come true what he wanted he got he not only did make the world together he made them united they are inspiring me by what they are doing they are showing so much love and support from all over and fundraising for his funeral and medical costs and praying for the family and friends it's also bringing them closer because their grieving together and comforting each other their being there for each other so even though he's passed away he's a true blessing a true hero to all of us he would go through this accident so we could be closer I want to say thank you Noah for being my hero May God bless you in Heaven to his family and friends I hope this hero inspires you like he did me I hope God speaks to you touches you shows you He's still there and loves and cares on you and comfort you I'm sorry for loss #BattleoftheLear
