Phyllis Ann Kohl

SPRINGFIELD: Phyllis Ann Kohl, age 80, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 after a long, happy and fulfilling life.

She spent the majority of her life engaged in her #1 priority - raising her five children. For numerous years, she managed 4-H sewing groups with her daughters and extended family. She also found enough time and energy to fulfill her entrepreneurial spirit by creating and operating Candle Cove, a specialty candle & gift store in Springfield, Ohio. Never one to become complacent, Phyllis obtained her LPN degree from Clark State Community College in 1988, and proudly utilized her new educational talents working with the mentally disabled and senior residents at FF Mueller Residential Center in Springfield, Ohio. Her true joy was to witness her family grow in loving and miraculous ways, always keeping a positive attitude while sharing in her many life experiences.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Funeral Home, 2425 N. Limestone St, Springfield, Ohio from 10:30am to 12:00pm. Funeral services will be held directly after visitation at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Springfield, Ohio.
