We will miss visiting with Mr. Bassanello on our trips to Buffalo. He always greeted us with a friendly handshake and a warm hug. He was a genuinely kind and caring gentleman. Our love and prayers to Eva, Susan, Tom, David and the Bassanello family.

When my father was in hospice care at home, Mr. Bassanello called and offered to come to house and cut his hair as he had his whole adult life. What a kind and generous jesture that I will always remember. He, like my Dad, was a true gentle man. May God hold him in the palm of his hand and bless those he has left until they meet again. It was always a pleasure to see Al Bassanello. He was a great conversationalist, avid sports fan, and one of the last of the Greatest Generation. He will be missed.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this time. Matt 11:28(KJV) says “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” We pray that you find comfort in knowing your Dad is at peace with the Lord.

To David and the Bassanello Family: I am not sure you will remember me ... a friend from high school days. Sending you all deepest condolences. May your many wonderful memories carry you through the coming days.
