Alice E. Callen

Age 83, passed away Thursday September 13, 2001, of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Belleville; she was born August 4, 1918 in Cheektowaga, NY; daughter of Ernst and Ethel (Jessup) Buckwald. On September 29, 1968 she married Torrance Henry Callen and he preceded her death in February 2, 1981; survivors include; daughter Shirley Earp of Cleveland; step-daughter Joyce Buckwald of Shelyville, TN; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son, Johnny and seven brothers. The funeral service will be 1 PM Saturday, September 15, 2001 at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel with Rev. Milford Byrd of Community Free Will Baptist Church officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6-9 PM Friday. Mrs Callen was a waitress and in restaurant management for many years. She loved to play Bingo as a hobby
