EDWARDS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 995 Genesee Street, Buffalo, NY, Friday, December 4, 2020, 4 - 7 PM and Saturday, December 5, 2020 11 AM - 12 noon. Funeral Services will immediately follow. I first met Angel at Kalu salon on the Blvd. I originally started going there to have my nails done; Angel was the one. Slowly but surely I got to know Angel; and she treated me as if I was a friend and part of her. I eventually started to have do my hair. I followed her to her short lived business at the salon suites in Williamsville. I will never forget when she said to me;" will you follow me Rose?" There was absolutely no hesitation on my end; Angel had an energy and talent that of course I was going to follow her. How special to have my hair colored and cut by Angel in her private salon. She continued to do my nails and I felt special. We developed of course a very special relationship that went beyond stylist/client; she became a friend. I was sad when she shared events in her life that heartbreaking and happy when she talked about her movies and being on set. I thought to myself; "what will I do when she makes it big doing hair and make-up on movie sets? Will she still be ther for me? She always told me that she would be there for me. When she had to close her businessl; I was like her last client in the suite. She then came to my house and took care of my hair and nails. As a school counselor working with young children : I would always want to know about her precious and beautiful Luca. She was one of the most dedicated and proud mamas that I have been honored to meet. I followed Angel of course to Excuria where my journey of being touched by an Angel continued. She was there for me as my professional hair stlist and a friend. I had her and Luca over swimming at my house; he was like a fish in the water. I am sitting at my desk at work writing this with tears and disbelief that Angel is truly gone. I look at my hair and know that was magical and knew how to work her talent and artistry. She should not be gone. This death is a loss that I have not experienced since my mother passed almost two years ago. Angel was a hard worker, dedicated mother, devoted daughter, sister, cousin and friend to so many. I don't know if she ever realized how many souls she touched. All I can say, I am grateful for having been touched by an Angel. I will miss you forever ; you will not be forgotten.
