Annie was my very first real friend when we were about 5 years old. She lived next door on Sycamore Street and I'll always remember the fun we had, no disagreements that I can remember and even after she moved to (Belmont?) I remember taking the NFTA bus to Hertel & Starin where her Mom would pick me up to take me to spend the day at their new home. After more than 50 years with no contact Ann came to my brother Joe's wake and we were able to get reaquainted and meet a few times for lunch. It seemed like their was no gap in time because we still felt so comfortable with each other. I am so sorry for your loss, Ann was a very special lady. Sincerely, Barbara Rogers
