I remember working in the Bio Dept. at Buff State in the basement next to the planetarium. I often ran into Art and he was always pleasant, one of the nicest people I ever met. I'm sure he is missed by many, a great guy.

I retired from the Dean's Office of Natural & Social Sciences at Buffalo State in 2010, and I have only the fondest memories of Art Gielow. He was always pleasant, friendly, and kind to people. I am so sorry that you have been without him for 7 years. God bless you!

Art - to this day we admire and miss you, speak of you often with fond memories and laughter. You were a great role model for the gang at Buff State's Astro Club = can never forget your hot dog omlettes. God Bless - Gail Dressel, House Mother, Buff State Astro Club.

Dear Kathy,
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, he was our neighbor years ago! I remember as a little girl he always had a smile and would say Hi to us when we were playing in the yard! He would ask us if we would like a piece of gum.
I remember his Dad also Art just like my Dad and also my brother named Art! I will keep you in my prayers. My Dad and brother have also passed away. God Bless! Diana

If this was the Art Gielow that ran the Buff State Planetarium in the 80's, he was truly a nice guy.
