I had Mr. Parks as a teacher when I was at McKinley High. He was one of those few teachers that make a lasting impression. I was lucky to have been in his class.

Just heard about Art´s passing. It was my privilege to be his colleague at McKinley High for many years. Art´s presence in any room always elevated the fun and the intensity. We shared countless good times, especially at faculty parties and get togethers over the years. I´ll never forget him.

Our deepest sympathy to Terri and the entire Parks family. My sister Christine and I have known Art for over 50 years. We worked with him for countless years as a member of the Buffalo Teachers Federation Executive Committee as well as attending numerous local, state and National Teacher Conferences. Art was vocal and spoke of issues important to all educators. More than that, Art was a great friend and will be missed.
It was Art Parks who introduced me to my future wife Diane 35 years ago. He was a friend of members of her family.
Rest in Peace Art. God Bless.

Art was a person who would be there for you. He was unafraid to stand up for what was important. Thank you Art for all you did for Buffalo teachers and your students.

Dear Terri and Maureen, Sarah, Matthew, and family of Arthur Parks,
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Art, and our thoughts, prayers and condolences are with each of you at this most difficult time.
We remember that you and Art were present at our sleepouts, and that Art would bring wood for us to burn throughout the night - Art had the wood already cut and it was ready to simply toss in the fire barrel; this was indeed a godsend!
Art will remain in our thoughts and prayers as will each of you.
Rest in peace Art.
With our love,
Eleanor and Steve Ash.
