Of South Wales. Wife of the late Paul B Kowalski; mother of Mark (Cheryl) Kowalski, Matthew (Kathy) Kowalski and Melanie (Paul) Metzger, Grandmother of seven: Michael (Alex), Steve (Heather), Emily (Dallas), Calvin, Ruth, Kathryn and Michael and four Great-Grandchildren; daughter of the late Edythe (nee Moneypenny) and Walter Spawton.; Sister of the late Shirley Rath and the late MaryEllen Razka; She is also held with much love by many nieces, nephews and countless members of our community that were asked to call her "Mom or Momma". Friends and Family will be received at Comfort Funeral Home, 6469 Olean Rd, South Wales, NY on Friday, September 19th, 2025 from 3-8 pm. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 20th at St. Matthias' Episcopal Church, 374 Main St, East Aurora, NY at 11:30 am. Barbara was an active member at St Matthias' Episcopal Church in East Aurora. She was also a member of the Six Star Post #637 American Legion Auxiliary and the East Aurora Aktion Club.
