For twenty years Barbara and Bill were part of a close group of us in Lake Placid who felt free to call at five for dinner that evening, or for a trek across a field or up a mountain. And there were the trips every January to some city or resort in Quebec or Ontario that were a highlight of each year.
We remember Barb as a passionate reader and it showed. In his 2005 book Bill acknowledged her skills in shaping the book. While serving on the North Country Library Association she also became an active recruiter for Board members.
We regret that we have a long standing commitment to visit our grandsons in Juneau, Alaska at the same time as the memorial service so we will end by saying: Barbara it was a life well lived. You will be missed.
