Bernie will be very much missed by so many of us who loved and admired her, like me, who enjoyed so many great conversations and much laughter with her over the years. She truly was one of a kind and blessedly non-judgmental. Her sad death reminded me of the many times spent at the kitchen table at Otis Place with my wonderful sister in law Laverne and her sister Bernie discussing this and that for hours. Wonderful warm memories. It is heartwarming when I think of her being reunited with her big sister Laverne, as well as the rest of her family who passed before her. God bless her sweet, dear soul.
