TURZILLO - Betty J. (nee Abbey)
Of Hamburg formerly of Silver Creek, entered into rest April 24, 2023. Beloved wife of the late John Turzillo; devoted mother of Nancy (Ted) Welch; and the late Carol (Jerry) Bialaszewski and Jeffrey (Liz) Turzillo; cherished grandmother of Julie (Ryan) Watts, Ryan (Sarah) Bialaszewski, Alison (Scott) Harr, Jennifer (Daniel) Stark and Emilie Welch; adored great-grandmother of Logan Watts, John Stark and Sophia Stark; loving daughter of the late Alfred and Lelah
(nee Phillips) Abbey; dear sister of the late Alfred Abbey and Richard Abbey; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Friday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 o'clock where the funeral service will immediately follow. Interment Cherry Creek Cemetery. Betty was a nurse's aide for 20 years at Lakeshore Hospital, spent her winters in the warm Florida sunshine, was an avid member of the bocce team and loved to travel with her husband John. She was a member of the Red Hats, the Hamburg Senior Citizens and a devoted fan of baseball, college basketball and the Bills. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Betty's memory to Hospice Buffalo. Online condolences may be made at
