Dear Bambi and Robin,
So many wonderful memories of your mother, such a great person, friend and teacher. Our thoughts go back to the time we spent a week with you guy around Thanksgiving, forty years ago and every time you came to New Orleans or at conventions. I had an opportunity to speak with Bev a short while ago when she was still a home. Please know that we too feel your lost. I will keep her in my prayers and always in our memories. Love from Miss Lil, Genese and Glenda.

Dear Bambi, Robin and family,
I was very saddened to hear of your Mon's death. She was a very special person. I remember going to class in her upstairs studio on third street as a very little child. I was 3 or 4 when I started. I remember your great dane and when it stood it was bigger than me. And when I was older I remember going to my first ballet with your mom and you guys. I remember your mom being a hard, demanding teacher but I also remember the love and encouragement that went with it. She always made me want to try my hardest, to do my best. Whenever her name was on the news or in the paper, I would feel special because I had been her student. I'm sure that I'm a better person because her life touched mine.
You are all in my prayers.
Love, Vickie (Favero) Suitor

Dear Family of Miss Bev:
I began dance with Miss Bev at the age of 4 and fell in love with it, as well as her. I remember her parents, so sweet and worked so hard at the third st. dancing school. Many years later I came back to the Falls as a adult and took tap and jazz again from her. I was always so proud to name her as my teacher. She was an inspiration and will never be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

She was a source of inspiration ro all of us who knew, studied, and loved her. Life was always exciting when "Miss Bev" was in charge, whether it be in dance class or in any social engagement. She was a true teacher of not only dance but of life! She will be sorely missed by us all; but remembered every time we experience dance as teacher, participant, or benefactor. Miss Bev is now a REAL star (in the heavens). May she rest in peace...........

Miss Bev was unlike no other. She could "read" me like a book and took it upon herself to help me through a very difficult time in my life. It is a wonderful story that I just told again two days before getting the news. Thoughts of Miss Bev will bring smiles to many for years to come.

Miss Bev was a legend long before I ever caught a glimpse of her vibrant red hair. It would not be until I got out into the world that I realized the contributions this woman made to the world of dance and theatre. It is not uncommon to meet people who learn I am from the Falls and tell me, "well then you must know Miss Bev." Even though I did not take class from her studio, I was always pleased to know that she taught my father and my aunt. My favorite iconic Miss Bev story tells the tale of a little boy from Buffalo, NY who travelled "up the steep and very narrow stairway..." to study under one of Dance's most beloved Masters and go on to create some of our most treasured musical theatre shows. Miss Bev, you will be missed.

"And...5...6...7...8.... Step-ball-change. Step-ball-change." How Miss Bev tried and tried to make a silk purse out of this two-left-footed sow's ear in West Side Story.
I remember how the "Mama Rose" in her would stuff Bambi, Robyn, Rich, Sammy, and Sherrie into the car and off they would go to competitions, rehearsals, performances, and excursions to Broadway.
These unforgettable memories and the cherished, defining moments in my life which she is so much a part will not be forgotten.
If you remember the fun and happy times, and tell and re-tell stories about her so that others can recall her memory -- she will live forever.
She is in the Great Ballroom in the Sky now and you are in my prayers.

Dear Bambi and Robin,
My deepest sympathy to you and your families. Miss Bev was a star in in every way and I know that that star shines brightest in Heaven today. Dear Bambi and Robin~
Your mom, my mentor, was one of the most influential people in my life. She encouraged me to take over a dance studio when I was just 17. She was always so supportive, kind and loving. When I tell my students stories & ways to remember steps, I find myself repeating those as I was taught by your mom, Miss Barb and you Bambi. "And Thanks, for the Buggy Ride" Miss Bev, I love you. My thoughts and prayers are with you Bambi and Robin and your beautiful children.

DEAR BAMBI, I USED TAKE DANCE FROM YOUR MOTHER WHEN SHE WAS LOCATED ON 3RD STREET IN NIAGARA FALLS--THE PROSPECT HOUSE THAT YOUR FATHER OWNED. MY FATHER IS A DRUMMER AND HE USED TO PLAY UPSTAIRS IN THE LOUNGE ABOUT 4 NIGHTS A WEEK. AT SOME POINT IN MY DANCE YEARS, YOUR MOTHER WAS PREGNANT WITH YOU. AS KIDS WE WERE ALL VERY EXCITED OVER THIS. YOUR GRANDMOTHER, A VERY SWEET WOMAN, USED TO BE THE RECEPTIONIST, BOOKKEEPER, AND GENERAL GRANDMA TO EVERYONE WHO CAME IN. MY MOTHER WAS A WONDERFUL SEAMSTRESS AND SHE USED TO MAKE MY COSTUME FIRST SO MISS BEV COULD SEE HOW IT LOOKED AND WHETHER I COULD ACTUALLY DANCE IN IT. NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT WAS A MAGICAL TIME FOR ME AND I CONTINUE TO LOVE DANCE TO THIS DAY. YOUR MOTHER WAS A WONDERFUL WOMAN. SHE WAS KIND AND PATIENT. I CAME FULL CIRCLE WITH HER WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS IN A DANCE CONTEST THAT YOUR MOTHER WAS JUDGING. SHE WON!!! I AM HOPING THAT THIS PIECE OF HISTORY SOMEHOW COMFORTS YOU AND YOUR SISTER IN YOUR TIME OF GRIEF. SHE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY BUT SHE WILL ALWAYS REMAIN IN MY HEART.

Dear "Miss Bambi",
It is with a heavy heart that I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I have been reflecting upon my years at Miss Bev's in the recent weeks as I have been anticipating, with great excitement, my daughter to begin dance lessons. Saturday mornings at Miss Bev's were a staple of my childhood; an enriching experience which provided so many life lessons in addition to dance. May "Miss Bev's" vision and enthusiasm for dance live on in the littlest of "tappers".
God Bless!

Miss Beverly was the best dance teacher ever. She had such patience and was always so kind to every student always treating them with dignity. Her kidness will always remain in my heart. I was a former student and my children also took lessons before our move to Texas in 1989. My niece Gina Leone was also one of her students and I remember her kidness when my mother died in 1998. My thoughts and prayers are with her family now.

Dear Bambi and Robin,
With caring thoughts, I want to express to both of you, what a source of inspriation your Mom was to me and for many. I will continue to share her knowledge and wonderful stories, about the profession, with students and our friends. She is now a guardian angel to those of us who continue to teach, and dance on the "sacred floors" in our studio settings. Heaven is surely "stamping, stomping, and shuffling" with Bev's entrance. Be kind to yourselves during this difficult time. Love and Blessings...
