Of Tonawanda, NY. Beloved companion of 27 years to Carol A. Haefner; dear step-father of Paul (Naomi) Haefner and Marissa Haefner; cherished grandfather of Ruby; loving son of the late Martin Guetti and the late Rosalind (Charles) Phillips; devoted brother of John (Maria) Pieroni and the late Theresa Cervino; dearest uncle of Michael (Anders) Cervino, Anna Cervino, and Jack, Luke, and William Pieroni; also survived by by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Carl was the co-founder of Rosalind's Catering, Buffalo and was an avid Bills fan. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 4th from 3 to 7 p.m., at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Rd., Cheektowaga (2 blocks south of William St.) where a prayer service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Please leave condolences online at www.SmolarekCares.com.
