HE was a fantastic professor who inspired me to do criminal law and become a Prosecutor
Practising in New York and England. I just loved his classes and he taught with such confidence and conviction. Sorry to hear about his passing. Hugs to the family, from a student who has been truly inspired by his teaching xx

Professor Carr made every effort to mentor and support students, like me, who were first generation. He understood the unique challenges we faced and inspired us to persevere. He was accessible and kind. He is, in no small way, responsible for the success of many. I will be forever grateful for his support.
Well done thy faithful servant.........Go in Peace.......

My condolences go out to Professor Carr's wife and children. I will never forget him as he was influential and getting me into my legal studies and career. Professor Carr was always available no matter where no matter what he was there he listened and he assisted. He had a way of telling stories that impacted how you were going to go about your own Journey. He was such a well educated, well-rounded, humorous and polite individual. A true gentleman, a true lawyer, a true teacher and most of all a friend!

I will never forget this man and what he did for me to achieve my goals. I hope that the University and the Law School honors this man for his service to all the young minds of Buffalo that he touched! God Bless and may you now rest in peace my friend, my mentor. We will now be at a loss of not seeing your smile again except in our memories. Peace be with your soul and our prayers to his family.
