May you know the peace and comfort this heartfelt thought imparts. The ones we love are never gone, for they live within our hearts.

Chuck sat by me and we talked at Perb's annual gathering last year in the courtroom. It was my first year here. We had a long talk. I am saddened by his passing. He is in God's care.

Chuck was certainly one of a kind! He always had time for people when then called in with questions about their jobs. It has been very quiet without him!!!

Chuck and I go back to kindergarten at Tully Central School some 62 years ago. He and I were great friends back then and through high school, doing homework together in high school, doing summer work together on the Banner farm, playing basketball, football, and baseball on the Tully Black Knights teams. I will miss the Saturday lunches prepared by your mom and learning to drive at 14 in your dad's 1955 "vet mobile" (until we were caught by your dad). You are a dear, dear friend and on behalf of the 1959 Senior Class we bid you a fond farewell. Till we meet again on the other side.
My thoughts also go to "Doc Leonard" and his family. Chuck was truly a gentleman and a true scholar. I shall always remember him.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Chuck was a friend of thirty some years. Always a gentlemen, a source of help and guidance for me and a compassionate friend. I will miss him.
