Born in Buffalo, New York. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister, Christine lived a life filled with adventure, love, and dedication to her family. She married her best friend, Terrence, on October 15, 1994, and together they built a life rich with travel, sports, and unforgettable memories. Christine was an avid traveler, exploring five different continents through her career and visiting Disney parks on three. She especially loved Disney Cruises, where she could combine her passion for travel with family time. A lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, she also had a deep love for Michigan sports and was an active part of the event crew. Whether cheering on her daughters at volleyball and hockey tournaments or enjoying a weekend of glamping, Christine embraced every moment with enthusiasm. Above all, Christine's greatest joy and accomplishment was being a mom. She cherished every moment with her daughters, Emily and Erika, always supporting and celebrating them in all their endeavors. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, not only to her immediate family but also to her parents, Ronald Szypajlo (Nancy Pieniazek) and Elaine (Irving) Laub, and her sister, Mary (Ron) Plesch. Christine was a proud and loving aunt to her seven nieces and nephews: Alexia, Dante, and Angelica Christie, and Dylan, Mariahn, and Rae Plesch, and Destiny Bechtold. Her kindness, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. There will be a visitation for Christine on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 1:00-8:00 p.m., at Keehn-Griffin Funeral Home, 706 W. Main St., Brighton. Christine will lie instate at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 2201 S. Old US Hwy 23, Brighton, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, 10:00 a.m. until the time of her Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Christine's honor are suggested to Karmanos Cancer Institute, https://www.karmanos.org/karmanos-foundation/karmanos-foundation or Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, https://www.roswellpark.org/. We are so sad to learn about Chris. We remember her as a fun loving young girl. She was a good friend to our daughter, Katherine. They enjoyed doing shows together at Lancaster Middle School and hanging out doing things together. Our condolences to Ron and Nancy, Elaine and Mary. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
