Christy Kellogg Obituary
December 29, 1948 - May 4, 2024
Of West Seneca, NY entered into rest after a courageous struggle with her health on May 4, 2024. Mother of Debra (Richard) Puccio; grandmother of Allison and Joseph Puccio; daughter of the late William and Marilyn Hineman; sister of Timothy (Darleen) Hineman and William (Kimberly) Hineman; former spouse of Robert (Helen) Kellogg; companion of the late Elbert Hargesheimer and Thomas Wolstoncroft; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Christy was a retired teacher from Frontier Schools and an avid Duplicate Bridge player for over 40 years. She reached Diamond Life Master Level. She was a director at the Buffalo Bridge Center, competing in regional and national tournaments, winning many. A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2024. Flowers gratefully declined. Christie was a Lancaster Central Senior High schoolmate of mine and was sweet as sugar. May she now have a pain-free experience for all of eternity.

Mrs. Kellogg was my 7th grade math teacher, Odyssey of the Mind advisor, and even allowed me to observe her class during my junior year of college while I was home on my winter break. She was always smiling, always willing to help, and was just a great person that I had the privilege of knowing. My thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.

She was very patient and kind, as math was not my best subject. Rest in peace, Mrs. Kellogg.
