Colleen Mitchell Obituary
February 9, 1943 - July 7, 2025
(nee Bont; Grube), of Whitefish, MT and Orchard Park, NY. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 82. Born February 09, 1943 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Colleen lived a life defined by friendship, hard work, and her ever-present smile. Colleen was a retired medical insurance underwriter who loved to travel and experience life in the great outdoors. Colleen is survived by her sons Brian Grube (Georgia) and Derrick Grube, her sisters, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family, lifelong friends, and all those whose lives she impacted. Her memory will live on in everyone she touched and all who knew her smile. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 02 at 1:30 p.m. at the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, 4369 South Buffalo St. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Logan Health Hospice of Whitefish, Montana or The Springs of Whitefish.

Colleen was a dear friend of mine. We met at Lawley Inc. We had all our lunches together and a lot of walks (all weather). After retiring we met for lunch many times or at her home. My son Tom helped her alot with her electronics and putting furniture together. I do miss her a lot. She was a good friend.
