Constance BODIE Obituary
Born May 12, 1945 in Buffalo, entered into rest on March 5, 2022 at Elderwood Nursing Home in Cheektowaga. A daughter of the late William E. Bodie and Geraldine A. Bodie, Connie was the eldest of nine children. Connie grew up in Clarence Center and graduated from DeSales High School in Lockport and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in South Buffalo. Connie loved dancing and watching Dancing With The Stars and Jeopardy! She loved to cook and enjoyed playing pinochle and going out to dinner with her friends. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and was always in family group texts while cheering them on every week. Her free spirit and laughter will always be in our hearts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Geri Sutton and brother Bill Bodie. She is survived by six siblings Kathy (Jim) Bolt, Jack (Benice) Bodie, Peg Bodie, Sue (Randy) Fletcher, Mark (Vicky) Bodie, Jim (Betsy) Bodie, special nephew Tyler (Katie) Sutton and several nieces and nephews. A family Celebration of Connie's Life will be in the near future. Donations in her honor can be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc.

Connie was one of the best ! I loved that she kept me on my toes, and learned so much about being a nurse from her. My favorite thing was she always called me MonroeI saw her in her last days and she was still so spunky. Miss you Constantly Constance. Love Marilyn Nixon
