Crystal..I learned about you from your grandma Ruth tonight while playing scrabble together. Her profile is all about you and what a wonderful tribute to you it is. I wish I had known you, you sound a lot like my daughter. After reading all the condolences, I know you were a truly beautiful soul and your grandma is so proud of you. I can't imagine losing my daughter and my heart goes out to your mom. I know you have been gone for a long time now but the pain for all who knew and loved you is still strong. You sound like the angel in life that you are now in heaven. God Bless You !

As an online friend of Ruth's, and as a family member through Christ, I too add my own condolences. Why such a jewel was taken is beyond our knowing but, God knowing all things, it was for some eternal good. I pray the family and friends, whose love shows vividly within the guest book, shine as a heavenly light to those who need to see Christ's beauty in Crystal, and see their need for Him even as she loved Him.

John Prescott told me about Crystal and I felt the desire to say a few words of heartfelt sadness for your loss. She looks like an angel and she achieved a great deal of success in her life, you must be quite proud of her. I know she will always be in your heart and mind. You have my deepest sympathy.

To Crystal's family,
I work in the office at Willow Ridge Elem. School. I am so sorry for your loss. Crystal came to the elementary school to work with the younger students a few times a week this past school year.
She was so sweet, always had a smile on her face and always greeted me when she came in the office to sign in and out. She truely was a lovely young lady.

Crystal was a wonderful person who brightened up any room she entered. She was a strong, energetic person with the ability to make anyone smile. I am glad that my neice and nephew (Amanda and Anthony Lands) were two of her best friends.....it gave me the opportunity to know a wonderful person. The world is an emptier place without Crystal in it. But I'm sure Heaven is FULL of smiles now that they have Crystal to brighten their room. Bill, Lisa, Anthony, Amanda Lands, and I (Lisa's brother) will continue to pray for her wonderful family. Crystal brought many smiles into the Lands residence and that is something we'll always cherish.

Crystal, our sweet Crystal. She would have been so loving anyway, but she learned much from her precious devoted mother. i have never witnessed such selfless acts of love from a mother as i have from Melissa. And i would know. I am Melissas mother. My heart is bursting with pride and love for both of them...and there is not enough room to contain it all...overflowing.

I just played Scrabble with Crystal's grandmother--your mom. What a lady! She has asked me to pray for you and I will! Grief is a difficult thing to live through, but with God's help, may you be as strong as you were running along the sidewalks with Crystal in her wheelchair. My heart is with you.

Crystal.

her nickname is Bay

she loved her friends so so much
in grammar school she was called the peacemaker by many teachers, always trying to help the kids be nice to each other

she loved to color, then paint when she got older

she never complained, like ever

she was a great helper to me, did most of the housework..so so much of it

she understood the importance of time as opposed to things

she named her baby dolls, all of them Crystal Love. in fact that should have been her name

she is the heart of our family, loved the most by all

sweet, kind and giving

we needed her more than Heaven does

the greatest of faith, hope and love is love. Crystal's purpose here fulfilled.

Mellissa and Steven,
It is with an extremely heavy heart I write to you of Crystal's passing.
I was always so proud of what Crystal became. I watched her grow from a gorgeous little girl into a lovely young lady. Her compassion for all around her was most evident. She never had bad to say about anyone, but could always find the good in someone to talk about.. It seems so unfair to see her be taken from us all. I have said many times, that if I had a daughter she would have to be like Crystal, She was the quintessential little girl "Sugar & Spice and Everything Nice". She touched my heart when she as a very little girl always smiling presented me with a little hand painted rock that I still have and cherish to this day. It is colored in Purple and holds the Holy Cross and simply reads "To Dave". I hold it deeply and with great intrinsic value. It is said that “Happiness comes to the One who finds True Love” and I know Crystal new the meaning of that. She will be missed by all and never forgotten. Be proud of your accomplishments as a great mother and motivator of such a remarkable young woman. And to Steven for being a great brother to her. Remember she lives on in our hearts. A wise and old scripture says "What has brought us together in Virtue shall not separate us in Death" remember this with her memories.
Sadly and Compassionately,
Dave
