Dane SWANSON Obituary
Entered into rest December 4, 2021. Loving son of James (Bonnie J.) Swanson and Gail Swanson; dear brother of Jason (Dr. Simon Lowry) Swanson and dear step-brother of Nicholas (Dinamarie) Julian; adored uncle of Julia and Ansel Swanson-Lowry and Jasmine and Annabella Julian. Dane played football for six years and was a heavily sought after football player. After gradating from North Tonawanda High School, he received a football scholarship to St. Peter's College, where he played during his time there. Dane had a passion for travel and made several trips to various parts of Europe. He had the ability to make friends wherever he went and was a lover of music and comedies. He was a gentle soul who lived for his family and he will be missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Friday from 5-8 PM. AS PER THE ERIE COUNTY MANDATE, MASKS OR FACIAL COVERINGS WILL BE REQUIRED. AT THE REQUEST OF THE FAMILY, COVID-19 VACCINATIONS ARE REQUIRED BY THOSE WHO ATTEND THE VISITATION. My heart breaks for you Gail. I am so sorry you and the family have to go thru this. I never had the pleasure of meeting Dane but have heard so many wonderful stories about him it is almost as if I have known him my whole life. You all have one beautiful angel up above to look over you and protect you. I can only hope that all of the memories and wonderful times you have shared will help get you thru these difficult times. I am heartbroken. Dane was fun! A teddy bear! I have many memories.... Life will not be the same, but knowing Dane is above keeping you safe will hopefully help you through your healing. If you need me, please don't hesitate. Love you.
