October 21, 2013, beloved husband of the late Mary "Carol" (nee Irwin); dear father of Anne Duggan, Caren, Peter, Michael, Ellen (Ken) Steimer, Steven (Trish) and Mark Jachimiak; grandfather of Amy, Kara, Katie, Alex, Nico, Hannah, Joleen, Lucas, Grace and R.J.; great-grandfather of Aidan; brother of the late Aileen Schlessinger; also survived by nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Martha Parish, 10 French Rd., Depew, Friday at 10 AM. No prior visitation. Condolences at www.pacerfuneralhome.com

Dan and I were in the Marine Corps together. I tried unsuccessfully to locate him in the past. We were in Okinawa in 3rd FSR. I lost track of him and now I´m saddened to learn of his passing. If you would be willing to share, I´d sure like to know about his life and death. We had a lot of good times. We often went to lunch together at the Eclub. I´ll look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
