Words are inadequate to fully illuminate Dan's life. A gracious and gentle man who found his soulmate in Fran and his happiness in family and friends. I was fortunate to have been included in his circle and will keep him and his loved ones in my prayers. May he rest in peace.

Dan, you were a great leader in the parish community, a friend, father and grandfather, husband - among all of those things I gained a tremendous amount of respect for you in your ability to love your family unconditionally amidst our differences. I learned from you, you married Michelle and I in the happiest day of my life, again with unconditional love and trust under very tumultuous circumstances testing my dedication to your daughter from day one, baptised your grandchildren that miss you greatly at this moment! You gave them both their first holy communion. I saw you as a noble man, stoic and deliberate in your actions, and I admire that. You were a geat man seemingly unaware of how much people that you encountered loved and admired you - perhaps that was your selfless approach carried forward by your journey in faith - I feel was subtle but extremely effective! I can still see your silliy infectious "Polish" smile and your family will love you and think about you every day - stories about "Daddy" or "Poppi" and his unexpected journies and anictodal stories already ring in the halls of all of our homes. Rest in peace Dan and say hellow to all who look over us as our guardian angels in heaven. See you on the other side......

Deacon Dan was a man who was loved, respected, and admired by his students and those whose lives he touched. I am grateful that 3 of my children were able to have known him and for all the extra time he gave his students to make their high school years more meaningful. I know he will watch over you from heaven.

I am heartbroken to see this. Much love, strength, and prayers go to your family. He helped my husband get confirmed and was the religious education director when I taught 2nd grade religious Ed. at St. Hyacinths. What a beautiful man, what a beautiful soul to be taken. God bless you Deacon Dan we have lost so much here but heaven has gained a pillar.

I was a CYO teenager when I first met Dan. His genuine love for young people and his faith were evident from the start. It was the start of a long relationship that extended to my wife, Valerie, and our family. Please know of our deepest condolences for Fran, Michelle, Kristin, and Aaron and the whole family. A man of faith, a man of humility, a man of humor, and without doubt a man of family - his legacy continues in all of you. With love, sympathy, and prayers from the Sember Family.
