David JAROS Obituary
76, of Buffalo, passed away Jan. 11, 2023, after a brief illness. Born March 26, 1946, in Buffalo, Dave earned his degree from UB. Throughout his career, he worked as a civil engineer for the City of Niagara Falls, City of Buffalo, and the Erie County Water Authority. Most recently, he served as a consultant for Clark Patterson Lee. Dave was the loving husband of Yvonne (Spielmann) Jaros, for 53 years; devoted father to Michelle (Paul Eckert) Jaros, of Buffalo; Michael (Tim) Jaros-Ho, of Manhattan; and grandfather to Kaipo and Andrew. He worked hard to make sure they were taken care of and felt loved every day.
He also leaves behind his brother, Gary (Sue) Jaros, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. An avid golfer and euchre player, Dave enjoyed seasonal vacations with family and spending time with his great network of friends. Friends are invited to an Open House to share stories and celebrate Dave's life on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, at his favorite local spot - Del Denby's Tavern (Del's), 1553 Hertel Ave., Buffalo, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., where he was affectionately known as "Patio Dave." In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sloan Comfort Care Home. Please share condolences
