It´s been well over one year David, and we all miss you a great deal. I can´t remember a time together where you didn´t elicit laughter from me. The golf games and just getting together with Bob Battel, Willard Pottle and Dave Donaldson and you-of course-bring back so many wonderful memories! Rest in peace, my esteemed friend! My best to that great family of yours! Tim Norbeck

We loved playing golf and lunches after at CCB. We all laughed when he would lose at dice and have to buy the table lunch. He didn´t.

For 43 years I went on a golf trip with "the Barons" (David was one) where we travelled the world. He was one of a kind, always having an opinion about everything and instilling laughter to our experience. He was a distant but good friend and I treasure our memories together.

David always greeted us with a smile. He had a verve for life. His energy was palpable. He lived life to its fullest, and at the end of the game, in the spirit of his athletic prowess, he slid into home plate....
