David C. Peters of Hamburg, NY. Beloved husband of 47 years to Kathryn (nee Bialaszewski); loving father of Tina (Jeffrey) Bakowski; cherished grandfather of Emma, Olivia, and Nathan. Dave retired after 33 years as an ironworker with the Iron Workers Local 6, West Seneca. He was also the owner and operator of Taco's & More on Lake Shore Rd., Hamburg, a member of the Sons of American Legion, the Moose Club, Hamburg Lodge, and a classic car enthusiast. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends, on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 3 to 7 p.m., at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Rd., Cheektowaga (2 blocks south of William St.), where a prayer service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in David's name to Hospice Buffalo. Please leave condolences online at www.SmolarekCares.com.
