Dear Ms. Spinda and Family,
Please accept my condolences. I had the privilege of working with Dave during his many visits to Black Rock – Riverside NHS as Housing Court liaison.
Dave's conviction to the interests of the Riverside and Black Rock neighborhoods was unprecedented. A truly special man, who was not only “stand up”, but a gentleman.
Always a kind word. Our community shares your loss. I will sincerely miss my friend.

My sympathies to the Spinda family. During my years at City Hall, I always enjoyed working with Mr. Spinda and knew that he expected the best from those around him, because he himself always went above and beyond for his community. My grandparents were long time Riverside residents and I always enjoyed talking with Mr. Spinda about his memories of the neighborhood and our mutual friends. May God bless your family.

Dear Donna - We are so sad to hear of David's passing. We were just looking at family pictures on Easter and remembering the fun we used to have at the family gatherings. David was always happy and laughing, like most of the Wargo family. I remember the first time I met David, Billy, Alrene and Joanie when I was a child. Now they are all together again. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Take care.

A fine man. Many years ago I shared the mats with him in Judo. He had such a great smile, and shared so much. Great inner strength, no brag, just pride of work and effort. He touched many in a "Gentle Way". My sympathies and condolences at this time.

To lose a sibling is like having part of whom you are taken away, my brother was always there for me, my husband and daughter. When things got rough he was always there to round out the edges, he had a way to make me smile even when it was not in me. How do you go from counting on someone to be there and then God decides he needs him more, I would like to debate that but I know he would not have gone home if it was not his time. Rest in peace brother, as you lived a full and rewarding life and left a wonderful legacy in your wife, children, grandchildren and community. You did things your way but made your family proud. I love you and will miss you with all of my being.
