Feb. 13, 1936 - Nov. 16, 2023
Of Alden, NY passed away November 16, 2023. Beloved husband of Rose Ross; dear father of Donald (Kathryn) Ross, Jacqueline (Keith) Kranick and Kathleen (Richard) Clements; most loving grandfather of Heather (Aaron) Monahon, Paul Kranick and Lindsay (James) Lewis; proud great-grandfather of Raelyn, Olin and Emma; brother of Susan Perez, Hyde York and the late Candy McCoy; loving servant to his furry friend "Billy" the cat. No prior visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's RC Church Alden, NY Friday, November 24th at 11 AM. Donald was a retired manager from Scott Aviation in Lancaster, NY. He was a talented woodworker, an avid fisherman and outdoors man. Donald was a devoted father who loved his family and friends with his whole heart. Arrangements by the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME. Rose sorry to hear about Don´s passing. I worked with Don at Scott Aviation for 25 years and I will always remember the hunting and fishing stories we shared. He was one of my favorite managers at Scott. He was well respected and had the ability to turn negative situations into a positive.
